Lets wind down on the subnetting with a
few questions.
I hope you are giving yourself a break. Remember that I
teach this stuff now and can subnet in my head mostly but there
was a time I was sitting in a dingy rented hotel room crying
because I couldn't understand how to subnet. It had been
six weeks of reading and I wanted to pass the exam so I could
get a job back home and see my wife and daughter because I had
to work away all week.
I have two words written on cards on the top of my monitor,
'Patience' and 'Faith.' It will come with time so just let
it sink in.
Here are your questions Paul. You know what do to by now:
Which subnet are the below hosts in?
192.168.1.221/29
10.23.45.115/20
170.45.22.111/22
12.34.99.1/10
You have the below network address and you need to create 14
subnets each having 14 hosts per subnet. Which mask will
give you that:
192.168.1.0
That is the end of the e-course Paul, well done for completing
it, you should be very proud of yourself.
If you want to take your subnetting to another level I really
commend you to invest in Subnetting Secrets. After
completing that course you will never fear another subnetting
question.
